The processing of your personal data (such as your last name, first name, date of birth, address, e-mail address and telephone number) by COGITUS, controller or the processing, is made in a confidential manner and in compliance with domestic and international legislation, including the Belgian Act of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy in relation to the processing of personal data, amended by act of 11 December 1998 transposing the European Directives of 24 October 1995 (95/46/CE).
3 - Storage of your personal data
The personal data you provide via this site is kept in Cogitus files, with number BE 0871 364 460 at the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (CBE).
4 - Purpose of the collection of personal data
By providing us your personal data, you give us your express agreement to use the information for purposes mentioned below:
(i) in view of client administration and market studies ;
(ii) in view of issuing, recovering and verifying invoices ;
(iii) in view of the communication of news letters both in paper and electronic from Cogitus;
(iv) in view of operations of information or promotion about our services;

Your data will not be transmitted to any third party other than specified here above and for the purposes stated here above. In the event your personal data would be forwarded to any third party outside the European Union, COGITUS undertakes to transmit your data only to countries with a level of protection similar to that existing in the European Community or to ensure that the foreign controller of your data sign contract containing European Commission standards clauses in order to comply with the Directive 95/46/CRE
COGITUS reserves the right to disclose your personal data to respond to authorized information requests from government authorities or when otherwise required by law.

Right of access, objections and rectifications.
By means of a dated and signed written request addressed to the controller mentioned above and a proof of your identity with a copy of your ID card or passport , you may obtain written notification of your personal data free of charge and, where appropriate, require the deletion or correction of any inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant data.
We will send you a copy of your personal data not later than 45 days after we receive your request.
You may also oppose, on request and free of charge, the use of your personal data for direct marketing purposes
8 - Security and confidentiality
Cogitus will take all technical and organisational measures necessary to protect your personal data against abuse, destruction, loss or any other action which may compromise the secure and confidential storage of your personal data.
For these purposes, Cogitus, employs strict and extensive security checks to avoid unauthorized access to and abuse of your personal data.
However, Cogitus does not assume any liability for the use made of your data by third parties. The site may contain links to third-party sites or third-party advertising messages which result in the collection of your personal data. Cogitus is not responsible for the collection and processing of this data.
9 - Period for which your personal data is kept
Your data is kept for 10 years after the completion of an order. It is not passed onto any third parties other than those set out above and for the purposes described above.
10. Law of this privacy policy
Except in case of contrary provisions of imperative law, Belgian law applies to this privacy policy. In case of a dispute, only the courts of Liège (Belgium) will be competent.
11. Change
Cogitus reserves the right to change this privacy policy at any time, but will in any case do so in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
